About
Fran is delighted to be working with the Radio Academy on their prestigious mentoring programme RAMP for a second year. Fran was also the RAMP lead for 2025.
RAMP is a six-month personal and professional development initiative for mid-career radio and audio professionals. It pairs individuals with senior figures across the industry to help them transform their working lives.
In addition to being matched with a mentor, mentees take part in Leadership, Development & Networking sessions and join an Action Learning Set. These sessions help them make critical decisions, solve problems, and build confidence in their work in a confidential space.
RAMP helps to build confidence for participants to take charge of and advance their own careers. At a point when many people face barriers to progression in their professional careers, RAMP aims to open access to industry leaders, expertise and support, addressing personal challenges and advancing equity in the industry.
The group also receives exclusive access to The Podcast Show and other talks and masterclasses.
