Through the programme, Kimberley met Ali Blackwell who was piloting a month-long intensive coding course called ‘Digital Futures’. From this, Kimberley was offered a two-week internship at Tech City UK. Kimberley has benefitted from working closely on all three programmes and taking part in the varied and dynamic workshops. These skills-building workshops gave Kimberley the confidence to present, interview and be offered a position on a paid publishing traineeship at Hachette UK. Kimberley started her 12-month traineeship in September 2017 until June 2018 when she took up a position as a Publicity Assistant at Little, Brown. She is also judging the London Legacy Development Corporation's East Works Awards.
