Gintare was a mentee on Meet a Mentor programme four. Gintare joined the programme so that he could network, work on her strengths and to find a placement in the music industry.
Gintare was paired with Lucy Wood, a Music Talent Buyer for Latitude Festival. Lucy has worked in the music industry for sixteen years, with other roles including stints at Sonos Studios, Warp Records and 19 Entertainment.
Lucy and Gintare bonded over their interest in the music industry. Lucy helped Gintare apply for an internship at British Summer Time and helped her prepare her for her interview. Lucy also introduced Gintare to industry professionals who could impart wisdom about the industry. Gintare secured the internship at British Summer Time.
